Technical Markdown

Diagrams, maths, and code. Rendered offline.

Imark is a Markdown viewer for Mac with Mermaid diagrams, KaTeX maths, code highlighting, GitHub-flavored tables, and task lists. The renderer is bundled with the app, so technical documents remain readable without a connection.

01

One viewer for technical documents

Architecture notes, specifications, READMEs, research notes, and agent plans often mix prose with structured technical content.

Mermaid diagrams

Render flowcharts, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, and other Mermaid blocks inline.

KaTeX maths

Read inline and display equations without sending the document to an online renderer.

Highlighted code

Keep fenced code blocks legible alongside tables, tasks, links, and images.

02

Works with the editor you already use

Write the Markdown in Cursor, VS Code, Zed, Vim, or another editor. Imark watches the file, updates after each save, and keeps the reading position stable so the rendered document can stay beside your editor.

03

The same renderer in the app and Finder

Technical content appears consistently in the Imark window and its Quick Look extension. You can inspect a diagram from Finder, then open the full document when you need the outline, tabs, search, comments, or PDF output.

04

Private by design

Documents render on the Mac. Imark blocks remote requests from document content and does not require an account, which makes it suitable for private specifications and local repositories.
